Serious breaches of the duty of vigilance law : the case of Total in Uganda

The French law on the duty of vigilance of parent and outsourcing companies was promulgated in March 2017. Total, the largest company in France, is well above the law’s application thresholds, and therefore subject to the new obligations required by the corporate duty of vigilance law.
